A Successful Academic Seminar on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was organized at GDC Chitral. The seminar focused on regional economic performance, development planning, and the role of GDP in understanding KP’s economic structure.
Guest Speaker Mr. Yahya Bakhtiar, Former
Senior Economist and Director Regional Accounts KP, Department of Planning and Development, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, presented on provincial GDP estimation, sectoral contributions, growth trends, regional accounts, and evidence-based planning for sustainable development.
Mr. Sajjad ur Rehman, Head of Department, Economics, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of such academic engagements. The session was moderated by Muhammad Asif, Lecturer in Economics, who facilitated discussion between the speaker, faculty, and students.
